Everglades Area Tours rental location is at JT's Island Café and Gallery on Chokoloskee Island. All year long, Chokoloskee Island is, by far, the best launch site in the area for the day paddler. All other locations require an open water crossing of Chokoloskee Bay and dealing with swift river currents. *A deposit and copy of a current driver's license is required for all rentals. Reservations are strongly suggested*

Suggestions on what to bring Cell Phone, Watch, Water, Sun screen, Sunglasses, Hat, Towel, Change of Clothes, Water Shoes, Dry Bag, Soft sided cooler, Snacks, Waterproof Disposable Camera, Bug Repellant, Zip lock bag, compass, chart, VHF radio.

Fishing Kayaks

Fishing Kayaks come with paddles, PFD's, whistles, rod holders, anchor trolleys, anchors and/or drift chutes. Please do not forget your fishing license.

Canoe Camping Rental Packages

Included are an Outfitted Canoe for two; Kitchen/Cooking Pack for Two; Camping Package for Two; Filtered water and trip planning assistance. You stop by the store for your groceries!

All guests must have VHF radio, proper charts, a compass and demonstrate the ability to use all these items. We will not rent you equipment without these. Your safety is paramount to us. If you do not have these safety items, please consider owning them for future use. We will have a navigation/electronics rental package available for an additional $20 per day, per group.

If you want to get deeper in the Park on your kayak/canoe tour, consider our shuttle service to provide the best experience possible. All gear, kayaks are One-Way Shuttle Prices. The pricing, below is "per trip" and based on the livery location. Many guests choose to spend a few days at one location and then relocate to another during their excursion. Please contact us with your desires and needs.

1. Shuttle Only -- Your Canoes/Kayaks and Gear

Several transport boats are available to assist with your trip. However, each can carry a maximum of six guests, but can accommodate most anything that you will need in a single trip. Rental Kayaks and camping gear is available (see the Outfitting/Rental page). The pricing below reflects bringing you, up to five others and your gear out and then picking you back up at a specific date, time and location. Pricing is based on the livery location and assumes the use of one transport boat carrying everything in one trip. For more information, visit out shuttle/livery page.
