The Photography of Captain Bruce Hitchcock
An Exhibition at the Naples Depot Museum
Born in South Florida, Captain Bruce Hitchcock has spent the last 20 years as a fishing, and photography guide in the Everglades. This unique ecosystem offers endless opportunities to photograph spectacular landscapes, and the many plants, birds, and animals that make the Everglades their home. Many of the photographs on exhibit were taken from a kayak, offering a distinct perspective to the viewer. A reception to meet the photographer will be held March 17, from 2-5 p.m.

About the Naples Depot Museum: Part of the Collier County Museum System, the Naples Depot welcomes visitors back to the railroading boom days of the Roaring Twenties and explains how generations of Southwest Floridians used technology and transportation to conquer a vast and seemingly impenetrable frontier.
Seminole dugout canoes, a mule wagon, antique swamp buggy, restored rail cars and exciting interactive exhibits tell the story of how trade and travel transformed Naples from a napping village of 300 souls into today's glittering Gulf coast resort.
Open Mon - Fri 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sat 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free, and the Museum is handicapped accessible. For more information, please visit www.colliermuseums.com or call (239) 262-6525.
