Take Your Kids Fishing - 2 hr Intro to Fishing
Daily Tours @ 9:00 from Marco Island (Goodland) The outdoors is healthy for families and fishing is an activity that everyone can share. Kids excited about the outdoors and fishing gravitate to these healthy activities and tend not to be as attracted to the bad influences as other kids. However, we have found that the typical fishing charter is not the best introduction to the sport. The time spent on the boat can simply be too long for beginners, particularly for the youngsters. While most fishing guides enjoy fishing kids and families, they tend to focus more on the experienced angler. This is totally understandable. ![]() Everglades Area Tours is dedicated to education and so is this two-hour fishing experience. Our fishing guides are trained naturalists, as well as, experienced fishing guides so there is always an opportunity for learning. This tour is for families, youngsters and beginners with a single objective … "To inspire enthusiasm in the sport and the outdoor world as a whole". All bait, licenses and gear are included. We can take up to six family members on the trip, although, all cannot be fishing at the same time. (It is about the kids!). The cost is $250. Please bring whatever you wish to eat or drink, but do not forget your camera! ![]()
