Kayak & Canoe Rentals
Everglades Area Tours rental location is at JT's Island Grill and Gallery on Chokoloskee Island. Day in/day out, all year long, Chokoloskee Island is, by far, the best launch site in the area for the day paddler. All other locations require an open water crossing of Chokoloskee Bay and dealing with swift river currents. Relax and enjoy yourself at JT's - The Paddler's Gathering Place.
We service four launch sites on the Island. However, delivery of your kayaks to other launch sites is provided or you can take them with you. For a truly great experience, try a water livery with one of our kayak transport boats to a remote location in the Park.
All kayaks are outfitted with paddle, PFD, whistle, chart & paddle lease. Fishing Kayaks also come with rod holders, anchor trolleys, anchors and drift chutes. A deposit and copy of a current driver's license required.
For Self-Guided Kayak Tours, GPS, Receiver, VHF Radios and Chart Package are available for $30
